Taman Negara, Malaysia 2018

Taman Negara, Pahang is the best place in Malaysia I've ever been to. I went there a few months back, I went there with my beloved Aunt Ira and her husband. It was a very adventurous trip. I looove Taman Negara. There were so many activities that we did. (www.tamannegara.asia/)

First, we went to Pahang by car. Then, when we reached there we had to ride on a boat cause our resort was on the other side of the river. The hotel is called Mutiara Resort (https://www.mutiaratamannegara.com/). The boat fee is only RM1.00 per person, not that mahal. We checked in the resort then rested.

On the first day, we went on a boat cruise to Lata Berkoh and Kelah fish feeding. Lata Berkoh is one of the jewels and the deepest river I've ever been to in Taman Negara, it's soooo amazingly beautiful. When we sampai, we had to walk about 1/2 an hour to reach Lata Berkoh. We swam about 1 hour then went back. On the way back to the resort, we went fish feeding. They provide pallets there, but of course, you have to pay. Truly an extraordinary nature experience.

Then at night, we went for night trekking with our tour guide ( we call him pok chu) which is tremendously fun. We got to discover the nocturnal creatures in Taman Negara and we really need to be really quiet cause it can scare the creatures away. We had to bring our torchlight to find the nocturnal, and insects along the trail. I really had fun but I was quite scared cause it was so dark even with the torchlight.

 Night Trekking

On the second day, we went jungle trekking in the morning with our tour guide again. We climbed Bukit Teresek which takes about 30-45 minutes, we were supposed to see the beautiful view of Mount Tahan. But, we were so tired and decided to go back and rest. After resting, we went rapid shooting to visit the Kampung Orang Asli. I learned how to make fire using only rattan and wood which is really cool. I also learned how to use a sumpit. Really had fun.
